UAE Golden Visa for Filipinos Cost 2026

The UAE Golden Visa for Filipinos cost is quoted in Manila and set in Dubai, and the gap between those two numbers is where the money goes. There is no Filipino category and no Filipino price: the fee follows the route and the issuing authority, so the same passport can carry an AED 300 federal talent file or an AED 9,884.75 Dubai Land Department investor file. Every figure here comes from the schedule that charges it. We read the UAE government portal, the ICP specialised-talents service, GDRFA Dubai’s specialists permit, the Dubai Land Department investor service, the Dubai Health Authority fee catalogue, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs attestation fees, the HCCH apostille status table and the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs’ own appointment system on 25 October 2026. The only page ranking on this exact query is a 210-word news item from August 2024 carrying one unsourced figure. On this page, in order: why there is no Filipino route, the published UAE lines, what Dubai Land Department actually prints for an AED 2 million investor, the January 2026 Manila launch read against DLD’s own service terms, the Philippine document chain, the DFA appointment nobody can shortcut, the salary route’s cancellation clause, and how to price a quote.

There is no Filipino Golden Visa, so there is no Filipino price

Search this and you are offered a Philippine programme at a Philippine price. There is no such thing. The UAE government portal’s Golden Visa page, updated 28 July 2026, lists the categories plainly — investors in public investments or real estate, entrepreneurs, people with exceptional talent or rare specialisations, outstanding students, and humanitarian pioneers and Frontline Heroes — and not one of them mentions where the applicant is from.

That is not a technicality, it is the whole budget. The same portal sets the term by category rather than by person: ten years for public investments, exceptional talent and top university students, five years for real estate, entrepreneurs and high school achievers. Two Filipino applicants can be AED 7,000 apart on government charges alone because one bought a property and the other has an employment contract. A price quoted off a passport is priced off nothing.

What being Filipino does change sits before any UAE counter opens. A PSA birth certificate, a Philippine degree and a Philippine marriage certificate all travel through a legalisation chain that a UAE-issued document skips, and the Philippine side of that chain has its own queue, its own fees and its own refusal rules. Read the rest of this page as two budgets: the UAE block is published and checkable, and the Philippine block is where the surprises live.

  • Government portal, updated 28 July 2026: no Golden Visa category is conditioned on nationality.
  • Ten-year terms: public investments, exceptional talent and rare specialisations, top university students, humanitarian pioneers and Frontline Heroes.
  • Five-year terms: real estate investors, entrepreneurs and high school achievers.
  • What sets the UAE fee: the route and the issuing authority.
  • What being Filipino sets: the legalisation chain every Philippine-issued document passes through first.

What a UAE Golden Visa for Filipinos cost looks like on the published lines

Three UAE authorities publish schedules covering most of one applicant’s government cost on a non-investor route, and none of them publishes a total. Read on 25 October 2026, the federal ICP prices its specialised-talents golden residency at three lines of AED 100 — application, issuance and smart services — so AED 300, at a stated two days. GDRFA Dubai prices the specialists golden residence permit as five lines: AED 1,100 residence permit, AED 500 within the country, AED 10 knowledge dirham, AED 10 innovation dirham and AED 20 delivery. That is AED 1,640 at a stated 48 hours, and the addition is ours.

Two lines are charged per person rather than per file, which is what catches a family. The ICP prices a new Emirates ID for residents at AED 100 for each year of residence plus AED 100 in smart service fees, so AED 1,100 each on a ten-year permit, at a stated five days. The Dubai Health Authority catalogue prices the mandatory medical in tiers: AED 250 regular on 24 working hours, AED 700 express on six, AED 1,020 VIP on two and AED 700 at Smart Salem on 30 working minutes. The catalogue notes that its fees exclude typing fees, so an Amer or typing-centre charge sits outside every figure here.

Cheapest of each gives a documented floor of AED 2,990 for one Dubai talent applicant. One GDRFA line does not resolve cleanly: the page says the issuance fee increases by AED 100 for each year where the residency period exceeds two years. Read literally, that adds AED 800 to a ten-year grant and puts the block at AED 2,440 rather than AED 1,640, taking the floor to AED 3,790. The page does not say whether AED 1,100 already covers ten years, and no other official page we read settles it, so we report both.

  • Federal ICP specialised talents: AED 100 application, AED 100 issuance, AED 100 smart services. AED 300, stated two days.
  • GDRFA Dubai specialists: AED 1,100 permit, AED 500 within the country, AED 10 knowledge, AED 10 innovation, AED 20 delivery. AED 1,640, stated 48 hours.
  • Emirates ID: AED 100 per year of residence plus AED 100 smart services, so AED 1,100 per person on ten years.
  • DHA medical fitness: AED 250 regular, AED 700 express, AED 1,020 VIP, AED 700 at Smart Salem. Typing fees excluded.
  • Documented floor for one Dubai applicant: AED 2,990, or AED 3,790 if the per-year escalator applies on top.

Nothing above prices the Ministry of Higher Education recognition report, a UAE-licensed health policy or any provider margin. Those are real costs and no visa fee schedule carries them.

The investor route is the expensive one, and Dubai Land Department itemises it

If a Manila consultancy is talking to you, this is almost certainly the route. Dubai Land Department’s Golden Visa application — Investor service, read on 25 October 2026, describes a ten-year renewable residence permit and prints its fees as five lines: medical examination AED 700, Emirates ID for ten years AED 1,153, confirmation of the residency permit for ten years AED 2,856.75, Dubai Land Department fees AED 4,020 and administrative fees AED 1,155. DLD states the total itself at AED 9,884.75, and gives a service time of 7 to 10 business days.

That total is worth reading twice, because it already contains the medical and the identity card. A provider adding a medical and an Emirates ID on top of AED 9,884.75 is billing you twice for lines DLD has already counted. At the peso rate the Philippine coverage of the January 2026 launch used, where AED 2 million was put at about ₱32 million, AED 9,884.75 is roughly ₱158,000 — the number that vanishes when a pitch leads with the property price.

Family is a separate service with its own published lines, not a percentage on top. DLD prints AED 5,774.50 for a ten-year family residence permit, AED 318.75 to open the family sponsorship file and AED 5,774.50 for a ten-year parents permit, with an additional AED 100 for each sponsored person. A principal and a spouse is therefore AED 15,978 of published government charges before a single peso of advisory fee, and the condition behind all of it is a property whose purchase value is “equal to or more than 2 million AED at the time of purchase”.

  • Medical examination AED 700. Emirates ID for ten years AED 1,153.
  • Confirmation of residency permit, ten years: AED 2,856.75. Dubai Land Department fees AED 4,020. Administrative fees AED 1,155.
  • DLD’s own stated total for the main applicant: AED 9,884.75, at 7 to 10 business days.
  • Ten-year family residence permit AED 5,774.50, plus AED 318.75 to open the family file, plus AED 100 per sponsored person.
  • Ten-year parents permit AED 5,774.50. Principal plus spouse on published lines: AED 15,978.

The AED 15,978 figure is our addition of DLD’s own lines, not a DLD total and not a quotation. No fee schedule implies approval, and the decision on any application belongs to the issuing authority alone.

The January 2026 Manila launch, read against DLD’s own service terms

On 27 January 2026 a Manila consultancy, Golden Visa Centrale, launched a Dubai Golden Visa offering with the real estate firm Arish Capital Partners and described itself as the first local player to open access to the programme in the Philippines. Philippine coverage put the threshold at AED 2 million, about ₱32 million, for a ten-year residency with no minimum stay, said a card can be processed in as little as two weeks subject to approval, and reported one structure in detail: a Palm Jumeirah villa valued at AED 40 million, about ₱641 million, jointly owned by at least 20 investors each contributing the AED 2 million minimum.

Hold that against the service page that issues the permit. DLD’s investor service requires a property “wholly owned by the investor (one or more properties) under the name of the applicant”. It also states that “the applicant must be inside the UAE” and that “only the applicant is required to attend, escorts are not allowed to apply nor to apply by a representative is permitted”. A one-twentieth share of a villa and a file submitted from Manila are both things the issuing authority’s own page does not describe, and neither is a detail a brochure can settle.

The two-week claim prices the counter, not the file. DLD’s stated 7 to 10 business days covers the residence step alone, after title, valuation and medical are already done. And the ICP said in July 2025 that reports of cheap nationality-specific golden visas were false rumours with no legal basis, adding that no consultancy inside or outside the UAE has the authority to process a golden visa. Nothing on the schedules above moves faster because someone has been paid more.

  • Reported 27 January 2026: AED 2 million, about ₱32 million, ten years, no minimum stay, processing “in as little as two weeks”.
  • Reported structure: an AED 40 million Palm Jumeirah villa shared by at least 20 investors at the AED 2 million minimum each.
  • DLD service terms: the property must be “wholly owned by the investor … under the name of the applicant”.
  • DLD service terms: “the applicant must be inside the UAE”, and applying through a representative is not permitted.
  • Also reported: the visa grants no UAE citizenship, ten years is the maximum term, and renewal requires reinvesting in Dubai property.

We are reporting what two published sources say and alleging nothing about any company. The launch coverage and DLD’s service terms are both quoted above; if they reconcile, Dubai Land Department is the only party that can say so, and it should be asked in writing before money moves.

Philippine documents: the apostille is the first step, not the whole chain

The Philippines has been a contracting party to the Apostille Convention since 14 May 2019. The HCCH status table, read on 25 October 2026, does not list the United Arab Emirates at all. For most destinations that combination means a DFA apostille and nothing further. For the UAE it means the apostille is where the chain starts rather than where it ends, because a state that is not party to the Convention has not agreed to accept one in place of consular legalisation.

The UAE-side lines are small and published. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs prices attestation of individual-affairs documents at AED 150, with courier at AED 40 for three working days or AED 150 for one. What we cannot give you is the DFA’s own per-document authentication fee: its consular fee page returned a bot-wall 403 to our container, so rather than quote a figure we could not read, treat it as a per-document cost to confirm at the DFA counter and budget per document rather than per file.

Which documents travel the chain depends on the route, and the expensive one is the degree. The UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research runs recognition of university certificates issued outside the UAE, and on the AED 30,000 salary route a Philippine bachelor’s degree generally has to be recognised before the salary evidence means anything. That is a separate queue with its own documents, and it is the step far more likely to add months than dirhams.

  • HCCH status table: the Philippines in force since 14 May 2019; the UAE is not a contracting party.
  • A DFA apostille does not by itself substitute for consular legalisation into a state outside the Convention.
  • UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs: AED 150 per individual-affairs document, plus AED 40 or AED 150 courier.
  • Not quoted here: the DFA’s per-document authentication fee. Its fee page was unreachable from our container.
  • Degree recognition by the Ministry of Higher Education is a separate step on the salary route, and the long one.

The DFA appointment is the part nobody can sell you a shortcut through

The Philippine DFA’s Apostille Application and Appointment System is blunt about how it works, and it is the most useful page a Filipino applicant can read before paying anyone. Appointments are online only and allocated first come, first served, and the system charges ₱200.00 — a fee that “includes the cost of one (1) document you are requesting”, with the remainder paid on the day of the appointment. A file of six documents is therefore one ₱200 booking plus five documents still to pay for, not a flat ₱200.

The warnings are the part a quote will not mention. “There are no expedited appointments”, the DFA states, in the same breath as cautioning against anyone offering to speed one up for a fee, and it “strongly discourages applicants from securing online appointments through fixers and social media accounts”. Fees are non-refundable and are forfeited outright for failure to appear, for cancelling, for rejection caused by incorrect or inconsistent information, and for submitting discrepant or spurious documents.

There is a quieter constraint with a real cost. An authorised representative may apply for the documents of only five document owners per month, so if one representative is handling a family’s paperwork, that ceiling belongs in the timeline you were given. Only documents declared in the online application are processed, too, which means an undeclared extra needs its own application and its own appointment rather than a favour at the counter.

  • ₱200.00 appointment fee, covering one document; remaining documents are paid at the appointment.
  • “There are no expedited appointments.” Fees are non-refundable.
  • Forfeited for non-appearance, cancellation, rejection for inconsistent information, or discrepant or spurious documents.
  • An authorised representative is limited to the documents of five owners per month.
  • Only documents declared online are processed; an extra one needs its own application and appointment.

The salary route costs least and is the easiest to lose

Most Filipino professionals already in the UAE will look at the salaried route rather than a property file, and on published lines it is far cheaper: GDRFA’s AED 1,640 against DLD’s AED 9,884.75. It is also the only one of the two with a termination clause printed on the service page itself. GDRFA states that if the salary falls below AED 30,000 or the contract is cancelled, the Golden Residence Permit will be cancelled.

For a workforce where pay is frequently structured as a smaller basic plus allowances, that sentence is the most important cost on this page, because it is the one that can turn a ten-year permit into a sunk fee. A redundancy, a restructure or a pay cut is a different kind of risk on a salaried file than on an investor file, and no fee schedule shows it.

It also changes how a pitch should read. A fee charged for a file whose validity depends on an employment condition ought to come with the condition stated out loud. Our salary requirement guide carries the thresholds and the evidence, and our cancellation cost guide carries what the exit costs; both are worth reading before signing rather than after.

  • GDRFA Dubai, on its own service page: “if the salary falls below AED 30,000 or the contract is cancelled, the Golden Residence Permit will be cancelled”.
  • Published permit comparison: AED 1,640 on the GDRFA specialists route against AED 9,884.75 on the DLD investor route.
  • The clause attaches to the route the job qualified you for, not to golden residence generally.
  • DLD’s investor page carries no equivalent salary condition.

This is a published condition on a government service page, not a prediction about any employer. Confirm the current wording with GDRFA before relying on it in either direction.

How to price a UAE Golden Visa for Filipinos cost quote

Every number above is public, which means a quote can be checked line by line instead of trusted. Ask the provider which authority it is filing with, because that one answer sets the fee block: AED 300 federally, AED 1,640 at GDRFA Dubai, AED 9,884.75 at Dubai Land Department. Then ask what sits inside the number you were given, in dirhams, with the authority named against each line.

Three checks catch most of it. Whether the medical and the Emirates ID are being charged on top of a DLD total that already includes them. Which DHA medical tier was priced, given the AED 250 to AED 1,020 spread. And whether the Philippine document fees are listed separately, in pesos, step by step, rather than folded into a service fee. A single all-in figure cannot be checked against anything, which is usually why it is a single figure.

The last check the ICP has already answered. No consultancy, in Manila or in Dubai, has authority to process a golden visa, and nothing on these schedules is purchasable faster. What a competent adviser sells is accurate filing and saved time, and that is worth paying for. What nobody sells is the decision.

  • The authority: federal ICP, GDRFA Dubai or Dubai Land Department. One answer, in writing.
  • The fee block as the authority prints it, each line named, with the per-year escalator shown if it was applied.
  • Each person as a row: Emirates ID and medical fitness are charged per person, not per file.
  • Philippine document fees in pesos, per document, with the step each one pays for.
  • The provider’s own fee on its own row.

Every route on this page requires valid comprehensive health insurance, and no visa fee schedule prices it. SafetyWing sells travel medical cover for the window while a file is in processing. It is not a UAE-licensed health policy, it does not satisfy the health insurance condition on any Golden Visa route, it has no bearing on eligibility or processing time, and it reduces no fee above. Budget the UAE-licensed policy separately and annually.

Common questions

How much does a UAE Golden Visa cost for Filipinos?

The same as for anyone else on the same route, because no category is priced by nationality. On published lines a Dubai talent file floors at AED 2,990 — GDRFA’s AED 1,640 permit, a ten-year Emirates ID at AED 1,100 and the AED 250 regular medical — while Dubai Land Department prints AED 9,884.75 for the main applicant on the ten-year investor permit.

Is there a special UAE Golden Visa for Filipinos?

No. The UAE government portal, updated 28 July 2026, lists investors, entrepreneurs, exceptional talent and rare specialisations, outstanding students, and humanitarian pioneers and Frontline Heroes, and conditions none of them on the applicant’s nationality. A programme advertised as Philippine-specific is a provider’s packaging of an existing category, not a separate route with its own rules.

Do Filipinos need a DFA apostille for a UAE Golden Visa?

The apostille is the first step rather than the whole chain. The Philippines has been an Apostille Convention party since 14 May 2019, but the HCCH status table does not list the UAE, so a state outside the Convention has not agreed to accept an apostille in place of consular legalisation. Budget the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs attestation at AED 150 per individual-affairs document as well.

Can a Manila consultancy process my Dubai Golden Visa for me?

Dubai Land Department’s investor service states that the applicant must be inside the UAE and that applying through a representative is not permitted. The ICP said in July 2025 that no consultancy inside or outside the UAE has the authority to process a golden visa. An adviser can prepare and accompany a file; the filing and the decision sit with the authority.

How much is the AED 2 million Dubai property threshold in pesos?

Philippine coverage of the January 2026 Manila launch put AED 2 million at about ₱32 million. That conversion moves, and the threshold itself does not: Dubai Land Department sets it in dirhams, at a purchase value equal to or more than AED 2 million at the time of purchase, so a peso budget carries the currency risk rather than the rule.

Can 20 investors share one AED 40 million villa for golden visas?

That structure was reported as part of the January 2026 Manila launch, but Dubai Land Department’s own service terms require a property “wholly owned by the investor (one or more properties) under the name of the applicant”. Nothing on DLD’s page describes a fractional share qualifying. Put the specific structure to DLD in writing before committing funds.

Can a Filipino’s Golden Visa be cancelled if the job ends?

On the salaried route, yes, and GDRFA Dubai says so on the service page: if the salary falls below AED 30,000 or the contract is cancelled, the Golden Residence Permit will be cancelled. That condition belongs to the route the employment qualified you for, and it is the clearest difference between a salaried file and an investor file.

Does a UAE Golden Visa give Filipinos citizenship?

No. It is a renewable residence permit. The January 2026 Philippine coverage was explicit that the programme grants no UAE citizenship, that ten years is the maximum term, and that renewal on the property route requires reinvesting in Dubai property. Treat any pitch that blurs residence into citizenship as a reason to check everything else in it.
